National Democratic Congress (NDC) has won the parliamentary seat for the Sene West constituency.
The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate has won the disputed Sene West Parliamentary seat in the Bono East Region with 13,116 of the valid votes cast.
The National Patriotic Party (NPP) polled 13,100 votes, according to provisional results.
After votes in the disputed ballot box were counted, the NDC candidate had 275 while the NPP gathered 148.
The election in the constituency was plagued with an injunction after the NPP candidate felt aggrieved with the counting process.
The results bring the current numbers in Parliament to 137 for the NDC and 137 for the NPP with 1 independent candidate who has opted to sit with the NPP in the chamber.
The Electoral Commission is yet to make an official declaration of the results.
The Npp still are the majority in parliament.
